You have the opportunity to play a vital role in developing and organizing the YPN events and programs. Each event and program will have a work group and you can join one or more. These groups will meet on an "as needed" basis according to the program dicates. Below are the work group descriptions. Submit your informaiton to express your interest in any or all of these groups.

YPN Welcome Team - Provides an immediate connection for interested YP and new YPN members , on-going throughout the year (Work group leader: Drew Hartley)
Extreme Makeover Christmas project– YPN partners with an agency to “adopt” families in need and provide a Christmas experience (Work group leaders: Becky Brill)
Annual Membership Event – Membership celebration/mixer: “What does it mean to be in the Young Professional Network?” (Work group leaders: Drew Hartley & Andy Perigo)
Quarterly Caffeine Club - Early morning casual mixer to connect and network (Work group leader: Lori Jones)
YPN Gives Back – Volunteer days with area not-for-profit organizations (Work group leader: Amanda Triplett)
Mixers – Periodic social events, every other month, in a casual environment (Work group leaders: Priscilla McKinney & Ryan Jackson)

WYATT MATTERS Awareness campaign – Year round education campaign on why it matters, (WYATT MATTERS) to be involved in all aspects of local, state and federal policy-making decisions (Work group leader: Dustin Storm)
Bright Futures project –New partnership with the Joplin School District (Work group leaders: Becky Brill & Angie Thomure)
Develop
Person of Distinction banquet – Annual event, honoring and recognizing a community leader (Work group leader: Logan Stanley)
CEO Brown Bag Lunches - Bi-monthly lunches featuring area CEO's to share their leadership track in an informal forum (Work group leader: Garen McMillian)
Boardwalk training – Annual training, provided by the United Way of Southwest Missouri, in regards to all aspects of board governance and policies (Work group leader: Cameo Gerdes)
Mentoring Program – Area business leaders provide a group setting to lead mentoring sessions, with each group consisting of 4-8 YPNs and meeting based on the needs of each group. New groups are formed throughout the year. (Work group leaders: Garen McMillian)
